Premier Art and Ceramics Summer Camp in New Jersey

Close to Flemington, Clinton, and Bridgewater in New Jersey, our art and ceramics summer camp is a unique summer camp experience for kids and teens. Students learn in a setting that is part summer camp and also has the feel of an apprenticeship program in a fun and friendly atmosphere. At Diving into Art and Explore Ceramics each student has an easel and works with acrylic paint in the morning. There are classes that introduce and reinforce the fundamentals of drawing and painting so each student is improving in his or her technique.

After lunch there are a number of electives students can choose from such as anime drawing and learning the techniques of masters such as Picasso, Renoir, and Georgia O’Keeffe. In the afternoon,, students also have the option to explore watercolor painting. All of the student’s work is then displayed at our “Works-in-Progress” exhibit at the end of the week for family, friends, and the public.

Later in the afternoon, there is an additional elective, Explore Ceramics, where students learn to create works using clay. Students will use hand building techniques as well as the potters wheel. Once their work is done everything is sent to our kiln. You will be amazed at the results!

Summer Jazz Workshop in Lebanon, New Jersey and the Hamptons

This summer we are very excited to offer Jazz Workshop to musicians (beginner-advanced) at our Bridgehampton, NY and Lebanon, NJ campus. This summer class will meet 3-5 pm, Monday-Friday, July 11-15 in New Jersey, and then July 18-22 in Bridgehampton. Students will learn music with their peers in the middle school, high school, and adult division.

Our faculty has performed at jazz venues such as the Blue Note, Birdland, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and festivals throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. Our teachers love sharing their knowledge, and are currently teaching or have taught at Rutgers University, Rider University, Westminster Choir College, Raritan Valley, and a number of other schools.

Summer Art Camp and Adult Classes in NJ and The Hamptons

In our summer’s art camp in nj and in the Hamptons, as well is our adult classes, every student will have a sketching notebook that he or she will use. This will allow our student artists to sketch out ideas and work with our artist teacher before putting their ideas onto canvas. It will also allow act as a student notebook of sorts during class hours and as a way to free draw at home. We are so excited to welcome you all to Diving Into Art, the premier summer art camp in NJ and The Hamptons.
