In the heart of Bridgehampton, you will find a summer camp dedicated to music, art, ceramics, and dance. Students of all ages come from all over - Southampton, Sag Harbor, East Hampton, and Montauk - to dive in deep into their chosen fields. Students can choose Rock Camp, Jazz Workshop, and Diving Into Art which (both acrylic and watercolor painting). If dance is you passion, you will want to check out Dance Intensive - Hip Hop Workshop. New this year, we have Explore Ceramics where students learn to create using clay, using hand work and the potter’s wheel.
All of our students and staff in our summer camp for the arts in Bridgehampton are very friendly and welcoming! So whether you are inexperienced or a seasoned professional, the experience will be fun AND inspiring (this is the summer)! At the conclusion of each week there are concerts, art exhibits, and dance recitals. Having these end of the week events, gives students a few things….
Students gain an inner confidence because they have learned new skills and applied those skills in collaboration with others to create something great, something that gives joy to others. He or she knows that this was done through his or her own talents and efforts.
Students will be surrounded by others who also love their chosen field, whether it’s music, art, or dance. As we all know, you are inspired as much from your teachers as from your peers!
This kind of confidence that comes from performance will carry over to other areas of life that interest the student. You know the feeling of accomplishment, a kind of accomplishment that comes from practice, focus, and working with others to create something greater than the sum of its parts.
