Cooking Classes in the Hamptons, Feast in the Kitchen

Tucked away in the Hamptons, minutes from Sag Harbor and Southampton in the town of Bridgehampton, is a program called Feast in the Kitchen, a cooking school dedicated to bringing authentic cuisine from around the globe to students of all ages, kids, teens, and adults. We use ingredients that are in season from local farms and our aim is to bring the joy and art of cooking to all those who are curious in learning more.

Summer Cooking Classes in the Hamptons for Kids, Teens, and Adults

Yesterday, I had a great meeting with our chefs in Bridgehampton where we discussed various recipes we will dive into in our cooking classes, Feast in the Kitchen, in the Hamptons this summer! Our cooking classes will emphasize cooking dishes from scratch, and also using fresh, local ingredients from local farms.

We talked about the importance of quality and how every dish must be authentic to its roots. We brainstormed meals from Italy, France, Brazil, Vietnam, and more. Where does this dish come from? What is its history? How has it evolved or not evolved over time? In addition to creating the meals in our cooking class, it’s important to have a wholistic understanding of the food we are making. Stay tuned as we announce our recipes for Feast in the Kitchen cooking camp in the coming days!
